Many times in our congregation
there is a need for special Prayer Concerns for a member of our congregation
or a member of their family or friends who are in need. During these times
people often call the church and Pastor Sonja will pray for these people.
The Prayer Chain is also available
when there comes that time for special prayer for a member of our congregation or a
member of their family or friends who are in need. The Prayer Chain consists
of congregation members who have mobilized in a structured manner and use
the power of prayer to pray for others.
The Prayer Chain procedure entails receiving a call
or email from any number of sources about the
special prayer need and keeping that person in prayer. Then the first two or more
people in the Prayer Chain are called to let them know of this prayer need as well. This
procedure is continued until the entire Chain is completed. Then the people
at the end of the Prayer Chain will call the coordinator to indicate that
the prayers have been passed to everyone in the Chain. Call Pastor Sonja at
