Helping Out Our
Neighbors in Need
Refugee Resettlement
|
| |
|
St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church
has made a commitment to help stock the Welcome House with food for the over
100 refugees which will be living there this summer. Most of these new
arrivals will be coming from Burma and do not speak English. However, they
do need to have the proper food provided for them until they are able to get
food stamps which takes about 2 weeks after arrival. |

We are asking the congregation
for various non-perishable food items which we can store as well as money or
grocery gift cards to help us provide food throughout the summer. The food
items needed are: |
- Flour
- Sugar
- Salt
- Vegetable Oil

- Green or Black Tea
- Instant Coffee
- Cookies
- Orange Soda
